Fees

There are various fees that a trader may encounter on SDX that are outlined below.

Refundable Account Creation Fee

There is a small fee paid in SOL to the Solana network when creating a Trading Account. This fee does not go to SDX, but is paid to the Solana network directly for maintaining account state.

The Account Creation Fee is fully refundable when your account is closed.

Position Initiation Fee

There is a small fee paid in SOL to initiate a new position in SDX. This fee does not go to SDX, but is paid to the cranker in order to ensure timely opening/closing of positions.

Platform) Fee

A standard min(10% of trade price, 0.3% of underlying) fee will be charged and paid for by the taker on every trade. This fee will be re-distributed as 1) liquidity incentives for LPs, 2) insurance fund to enhance protocol safety, and or 3) to fund protocol development. The exact distribution percentages are subject to change.
